The LIFE program is a financial instrument of the European Commission that supports innovative, private or public projects in the fields of environment and climate. It is divided into 4 sub-programs: Nature and Biodiversity, Circular Economy and Quality of Life, Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation, Transition to Clean Energy. The main objectives of the LIFE program are to help achieve a sustainable, circular, renewable, carbon-neutral and resilient economy, to protect, restore and improve our environment, to slow down and reverse the loss of biodiversity, and to stop the degradation of ecosystems.
